Introduction	I live in Teesside in the North East of England. By day I wear a high vis jacket, a hard hat and get covered in mud as a geologist, but in the evenings I like to clean up and get covered in colour instead! I'm 49, have a grown up son, a granddaughter and 6 very happy cats. I went to art college 33 years ago, and did the odd sketch since then. For the last 10 years I've been making mixed-media art canvases, doing some art journalling and altered art pieces, but this past year I've been dabbling in a bit of watercolours and oil painting too. l just love putting paint on new blank canvases, be it mixed-media or fine art. I occasionally like to get the sewing machine out and do a spot of sewing too. I just love all crafts and can change my mind like the weather, flitting from one project to the next. But don't we all. xx
