| Introduction | I never knew my paternal grandmother Mabel Jane, as she passed away when I was four. But, what I came to learn about her was she was strong in her faith, a Proverbs 31 woman. She loved and cared for her seven children and her husband, the village blacksmith. One of her hobbies was to collect vintage buttons and sew them on cards covered with velvet. My grandmother Mabel Jane was born in the late 1800's. A time unlike ours today. A time with a much slower pace and way of life. This blog is my tribute to her along with my beautiful mother, maternal grandmother and sister. Women of faith who have helped shape me into who I am today and have shared in my love first and foremost for the Lord. These women also have shared my passion for creating and all things "old".
