About me

Location Nice, France
Introduction tories enchant me, and the people behind those stories. I like hearing stories, reading stories and telling stories. Words have always captivated me... I remember learning the words penultimate and pandemonium in kindergarten and immediately wanting to incorporate them into my stories. I love how the same word in a different language can carry a different nuance, why some things just sound better in say French or Italian to me. The stories I read as a child drew me into another world and gave me hope. I had thought for years that I would eventually form my escapades across the continents, into some novels, so I surprised myself when the notion to write picture books began to ferment in my thoughts about a decade ago. I am busy at present on my first Picture Book and Chapter Book manuscripts, but hoping to begin soon a foray into the world of Middle Grade Fiction. My hope is to weave stories for children that will celebrate life across the globe and the wonder of the natural and creative world in which we live! I am at present living in the South of France with two quirky felines and a constant flow of friends.
Interests Ten things I like: words, laughing, mountain hikes, lightening storms, scrabble, winning, the aroma of freshly ground coffee beans, simplicity, silence.
