Introduction	I'm an East Valley Girl. I'm not exactly a native to Arizona, though seventy-four percent of my life has had the Supers as its backdrop. This should entitle me to some pride and geographic preference. Do you happen to remember when the telephone gods divided the 602 area code into three? The Valley Trinity was not a welcome change. 480? No thanks. I wanted what had always been. And now, thirteen years later, I wouldn't have it any other way. Am I a 480 snob? You betcha. Did I change my cell number to reflect my locale? Absolutely. I'm sure 602 and 623 are nice places but they seem like imaginary lands or too far away. El Mirage? Isn't that the Spanish town in Puss in Boots? Buckeye? I believe that's East L.A. With that said, what's a girl to do in the East Valley? I love to try new places, recipes, hobbies and events, create a sense of community and find the beauty in everyday items.
