Introduction Since childhood, I've wanted to be a published writer. That's happened for me, and now I long to be a published novelist. I don't know if that will ever happen. I can only trust that Oneness will bless my life. What I've learned in a long life is that being published is simply the creamy frosting on the carrot cake. It's the craft of writing that gives me sustenance—it's both the layered cake and the lasting contentment.
Interests Holding a cat and feeling his or her contentment flow into me; writing about cats and their antics and unconditional love; walking; reading; baking yeast bread, scones, and quickbread; trying new vegetarian recipes; crocheting; watching Masterpiece and Mystery on PBS; visiting with friends and chatting with them on the phone; sitting on the sun-drenched patio and observing the birds visiting the feeders and the wind ruffling the leaves; finding new restaurants that have delicious vegetarian food; vacationing near water; camping in state and national parks; working sudokus, jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, and logic problems; finding new mystery writers; drinking tea; visiting art museums; painting watercolors, and deocrating my home with new watercolors and prints.
