Introduction | I am a lawyer and mediator from Athens, Georgia. For most of my career, I practiced at large law firms in Atlanta. I started my career doing all types of civil litigation. Then I got into the area of business law, helping clients with supply contracts, non-disclosure agreements, terms and conditions and other contracts. Along the way, I handled a lot of insurance related claims. I also act as a mediator in commercial disputes. Today, my law practice mainly consists of assisting a select group of clients with commercial issues. I am available as a mediator, and also teach Insurance Law as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Georgia School of Law. |
Interests | Law, mediation, technology, golf, outdoor photography |
Favorite Movies | I am not much of a movie buff, but would have to say Caddy Shack, O Brother Where Art Thou, and the Raiders of the Lost Ark series. Some of the movies about Project Apollo are good. |
Favorite Music | 80s. I was in Athens from 1979-1982, so R.E.M. is a favorite (at least some of it). I also like Fleetwood Mac and some of the newer country music. |
Favorite Books | Many. Some good ones are Final Rounds, various books about Project Apollo and many others. Tucker Carlson's Ship of Fools is worth a read, as is almost anything by Walter Isaacson, A.J. Baime, and Winston Groom. Brett Baier's books on Eisenhower and Truman are good. |
