| Introduction | Who am I? Of course the first thing I want to write is that I am a married work-at-home mother of two, but that’s not who I am, that’s just what I am. My chosen interests are reflective writing, reading, and long discussions with sincere people. I’d love to take full-time advantage of the simple peacefulness of the outdoors in the country. I also love spending time on the beach. Autumn is my favorite time of year, and I’m pretty sure I could live off of ice cream, specifically a DQ chocolate Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Blizzard. A glass of wine late at night or a cup of coffee early in the morning out on the deck, doing nothing but reading and listening to the crickets and frogs is my idea of heaven. My husband and I are highschool sweethearts, married for 11 years or something like that. We’re the perfect dysfunctional couple. We have two wonderful, entertaining boys who happen to have various developmental disabilities: Bubba, 9 and Moosie, 5. And no, we’re not cruel (at least not to our children), those are their nicknames. |
