Introduction	Our good friend Drew labeled us, "The Joe and Jill" when we first started dating. The label stuck and now Joe and I are married, starting a wonderful life together. Joe and I couldn't be more different yet we have so much in common. Join us as I blog about our adventures in cooking, bottling and preserving, parenting, working, experimenting, preparing for our future homestead, learning, growing and enjoying life.
Interests	We love to cook, read, watch movies, play outside, spend time with family and friends. Joe is an artist and is a very talented engraver and print maker. We're future small scale homesteaders and are planning on having chickens, goats, bees and a garden. Next year we will begin our search for the perfect home with the perfect yard. We have three children who are growing up fast. I think they will enjoy homesteading. They all love animals. I love to journal and document life. I love keeping a blog and seeing how much life changes as we live it.
Favorite Movies	Joe loves Amalie, Love Actually, The Labyrinth, The Seventh Seal and Once. I like what ever is on.
Favorite Music	Joe loves Polly Paulusma, Carol Emerald, Brandi Carlile, Iron and Wine, Flamenco and many more. I love Britney Spears and anything booty shaking...
Favorite Books	Joe loves Lord of the Rings, Paradise Lost, Love in the Time of Cholera, The Agony and the Ecstasy and many more. I read magazines.
