Introduction	I have been painting since the first grade when teacher made me draw the Santa Claus on the blackboard for Christmas. (Of course that was pre ACLU). I am from Holly Springs, Mississppi originally, a small town in Northeastern Mississippi, where I had my first real art lessons from the local artist. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Southern Mississippi. After college I lived, painted and studied in New Orleans. Currently I live in beautiful Gulf Shores, Alabama with my husband Ed. I love painting figures, still lifes, beach scenes, or just about anything else that gives me the opportunity to play with color and shapes.
