| Introduction | That's me with one of my daughters in the New York subway. I'm an old man now. Been in stocks since I was 18. Buy and hold was the way to go for decades...only institutions could afford live data. We charted by hand. I started a money management firm when I was 28...finally got $50 M. under management. My customers left me for faster money, so I closed shop. Started trading futures for my own account. Made money, lost money. Got ripped off by my "partner." The CFTC convicted him of a felony after I turned him in. Used to call my trades to the floor. Cleared through REFCO. Then even they went under. ETF's and E-Minis only at ThinkorSwim. Now I can keep up with the floor. This is good. I'm successful because I control my losses. Profits take care of themselves. |
