| Introduction | I am a wife, mother, grandmother, mixed media artist, an art teacher, inquisitor, collector of things and thoughts. I have taught art and art history from the elementary to college level. Currently I am teaching elementary and middle school students at a private classical school. My method of instruction is based on a chronological presentation of art history requiring students to interpret concepts from the past into artworks that express their personal statements about the past and present. My techniques are often shared with area teachers through a continuing education program at our city's museum. |
