| Introduction | Having reached the age of fifty-three years, I am discovering that a new life & a new me is emerging. I no longer have three active children to raise or care for, though they are still a very meaningful part of my life, nor all the endless hours of cooking & housework to do. No, the nest is empty and my hands are more idle.This is the time of my life when I need to redefine my life, my marriage, my relationship with my children & all those wonderful grandchildren and to discover that all important answer to life's most difficult question ~ "What do I want to be when I grow up?" Seriously though, I'm questioning HOW do I want to live the rest of my life? It's been said that life is a dance that you learn as you go. I am embarking on a new journey in this the early autumn of my life. I am excited to see what life has to offer & I'm open to change! |
