Introduction | I am Catholic Christian philosopher and goat herder who sees a need to return to the vintage practical living skills of our human heritage. I have a BA in English from Christendom College and an MA in Philosophy from Franciscan University of Steubenville. There are many in the academic world who speak of the need to return to—call it what you will—“Small Is Beautiful,” subsidiarity, simplicity, but those who address both the theory and the practicality of the issues involved are few. I attempt to bring aspects of the theory and the practice of simplicity into my own life, with some success and much failure. And I hope to share a bit of what I have learned—from Chesterton to cheese making—with you. |
