Introduction	Retired June 30, 2009 -- job was cut. Seemed better to agitate from without rather than from within. Are students inspired by books about real people? If so, I plan to write about people they have never heard about because the history books wouldn't allow it.
Interests	books, gardening, music, friends, politics, Costa Rica, Tanzania, granddaughter
Favorite Movies	too many to mention -- Battle of Algiers and Salt of the Earth were favorites for years.
Favorite Music	Dylan, Bach, Motown, blues, jazz, Prokofiev, Bartok, folk, Gil Scott-Heron
Favorite Books	Wow! From Dostoevsky to detective fiction. So many books...so little time.

Will we solve the problems of our economy?
