| Introduction | Hi my name is Susi. I grew up in Germany (which is were I met my husband) before moving to the states in 1996. I got the love for cooking and baking from my mom and Oma who are/were both most excellent cooks. Dinner time is important in our home, it is the one time a day we all sit together at the dinning room table to talk, share about our day, and eat. This is how I was raised, and this is what I'm hoping my children will continue to do one day with their own families. Slowing down and reflecting as a family is what brings us together. All of my meals are family approved. If I don't get the thumbs up at the table I won't be making it again. My kids have quite a grown up palate since I don't cook separate meals for them, anything I make they are required to try at least once and more often than not they love it!
