Occupation RN (Burn unit for pediatrics and adults)
Location NC, United States
Introduction My name is Jenny, my husband is Steven. We are parents to 17 children (at home). Our children's ages range from 14-4. Together, we have 2 biological children and 15 adopted children. 9 of our adopted children were adopted from US foster care and 6 were adopted from Ukraine. Our 6 children adopted from EE have special needs (4 of them have down syndrome). Each one has added joy, happiness and inspiration to this family especially Thomas our foster child. At age 2 he passed away after his life long illness but left us with a gift of loving other children who were sick and had special needs. After Thomas' death we promised that in his memory we would dedicate our lives to special needs children who needed a mom/dad . We have truly been inspired by all our children and pray that we inspire them. We pray that this blog will take you on a wonderful journey of our life and our journey to adopt our 4 new children who are in an orphanage not knowing that they have a mom and dad and many siblings awaiting their arrival. We also hope to give you the insights of living on a farm as we too learn along the way. God Bless
Interests family outings, reading magazines (hobby farms, country living, cooking and kids )
Favorite Movies I really don't watch movies but I would love any good suggestions. I do watch tv and love the large/or reality family shows-go figure!
Favorite Music Country, hip hop, classic rock, international. I do not like heavy metal or heavy rap...LoL
Favorite Books I can never get through a book but love to collect them especially cookbooks!! Saving them for my old age. I would love suggestions on this too.

When you open your eyes underwater, do you ever worry that you'll drown?

No not at all, you start to focus on the beauty you forget about your fears. I was a flight nurse and I can tell you when I had a patient in that chopper...being thousands of feet up flying in what felt like a belly of a fly...any fears whatesoever vanished. New priorities.
