| Introduction | After building a successful career in the corporate IT world, I became totally disabled in 2005 due to complications from Lyme Disease. I've always been a right-brained, logical, problem-solving gal and a great manager. After leaving work permanently disabled I was lost for a while, trying to find something I could do. I fell into quilting with my Mother 18 months ago and enjoyed it...a perfect marriage of right-brain symmetry and left-brain creativity. I found I LOVED the creativity part of it very much and have been soaking up everything I can find and making all sorts of fiber and mixed-media art. I am now an artist, which you couldn't convince me of 10 years ago. I'm currently experimenting with lots of different aspects of this cutting edge quilting art. Someday you'll recognize my name. For now, back to work I love! |
